Cruise Atlantic 2014 - Sailing to Madeira, Azores, Canarian and Cape Verde Islands


Cruise through the Islands of the Atlantic is the second stage of the three years expedition Over  Green Islands.  The yacht has proven it its abilities to sail in the tough conditions of the North, reaching the Cape Alexander on Greenland and beating the late autumn stormy waters of the northern Atlantic. We sailed over 10 000 Nm, many sailors came to know the taste of the North and I think many will desire to go back there.
Raw nature, difficult sailing, cold, ice fields and other challenges of North were our common unforgettable experience, all further compensated by unforgettable moments in the fabulous scenery of Greenland's glaciers and wildlife of the Arctic.

Now there is time for the really green islands: Madeira, the Azores and Cape Verde - distant, scattered in the Atlantic archipelagos of the unique fauna and flora, yet rarely visited by our crew. We planned this route in such a way that, despite the long distances, the longest episodes will last 3 weeks maximum. For the busiest sailors we organized cruises lasting just a week or two which will allow everyone to visit these remote and interesting parts of the Atlantic in our "business class".
Soon we will post more details about each of the legs, now we present our schedule for 2014 – this trip will take that long! As always,  we have 12 places only for each leg and for certain stages there are no vacancies already.
Plans for 2015 are also ready; it's black and hot Africa and cruises along the coast of Senegal and the river Gambia. Should you be interested, please refer to the tab Expeditions "Africa Sailing - Concept 2015”. How soon shall we start dreaming of a white Arctic? Soon, I guess!
