Cruise Going inside Africa - Sailing on Atlantic Ocean and Gambia River

The Cruise from the Cabo Verde through Senegal to the Gambia is the route of two opposing types of sailing. For a week sailing with passat winds and on the ocean wave, then shipping in the wild and on not regulated Gambia River, in the heart of Africa.
Because of great interest, the route will be double-sailed in the opposite direction, we have added two additional steps in 2015.

The cruise will start in Mindelo Marina on the island of Sao Vicente , which is the only one professional marina at Cape Verde.

Isle of S & Atilde; o Vicente was discovered at the day of St. Vincent, 22 January 1462, hence comes the name of the island. From east to west it measures 24 km, and from north to south about 16 km. Mindelo is 51 thousandths habitants town, the only one on the island where marina has the quay, electricity and fresh water.
